Repace values in Microsoft Power BI : Lesson-7 P-3
To transform values using the "Transform Data" feature (Power Query Editor) in Power BI, follow these steps:
- Load data: Load your data into Power BI Desktop.
- Open the PowerQuery Editor: Go to the "Home" tab and click "Transform Data" or right-click your dataset in the Fields pane and select "Transform Data".
- Select Columns: In the Power Query Editor window, select the column where you want to change the values.
- Replace values: With the column selected, go to the "Home" tab and click "Replace Values" in the "Transform" group.
- Specify the replacement: In the "Replace value" dialog box, enter the value you want to replace in the "Value to find" field and the replacement value in the "Replace with" field. You can add multiple alternatives if needed.
- Confirm Change: Click "OK" to confirm your changes.
- Apply Changes: After making all the required changes, click "Close & Apply" in the Power Query Editor window to apply the changes to your dataset.
By following these steps, you can easily change the values in your dataset using the Power Query Editor in Power BI.

1:- Home --> transform data --> Transform data
then you have

Home - Replace Values (of Transform section)
Then you have
- click OK button
after replacement
- change Customer into enduser in a segment coloumn
