Alan Hamil (born June 30, 1936) is a Canadian producer, writer, actor and television host. He was born in Toronto. Hamil hosted the Canadian Children's Television Series Risal Diesel (1961-64). In the late 1960s, he hosted two game shows that all ABC-owned and operated TV stations as well as others: Wedding Party (1968) and The Birthday Game (1969).In the late 1970s, he hosted the Alan Hamil Show, a famous day talk show on CTV. In 1977, Hamil married actress Suzanne Somers.
