Green-cheeked conures are small to medium-sized parrots known for their vibrant plumage and playful personality. The Scarlet-Chested Parakeet, scientifically known as Neophema splendida, is a small and vibrantly colored parrot native to Australia. Noted for its striking plumage, it boasts a bright green body with red spots on its chest, blue wings and hints of yellow on its face. These social birds are often found in small flocks or pairs and exhibit playful and active behavior. In the wild, they live in a variety of environments, including forests, grasslands, and coastal scrub, preferring areas near water sources. During the breeding season, they nest in tree hollows, usually from September to January, laying 4 to 6 eggs.

The Eclectus parrot (Eclectus roratus) is a visually striking bird species known for its extreme sexual dimorphism, with males and females exhibiting dramatically different plumage. Native to the tropical rainforests of Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Australia, and the Solomon Islands, Eclectus parrots are prized for their brilliant colors, gentle temperament, and high level of intelligence. Male Eclectus parrots are primarily bright green while females are primarily bright red with a deep purplish-blue chest.
