Green-cheeked conures are small to medium-sized parrots known for their vibrant plumage and playful personality. The Eclectus parrot (Eclectus roratus) is a visually striking bird species known for its extreme sexual dimorphism, with males and females exhibiting dramatically different plumage. Native to the tropical rainforests of Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Australia, and the Solomon Islands, Eclectus parrots are prized for their brilliant colors, gentle temperament, and high level of intelligence. Male Eclectus parrots are primarily bright green while females are primarily bright red with a deep purplish-blue chest.
