Gastrointestinal: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (in some cases). Eye: Red, watery eyes (conjunctivitis). Severe cases can cause pneumonia, organ failure, and respiratory distress. Seek medical attention if you have symptoms, especially after contact with birds.
