"Manage Parameters" option of query editor in Power BI: Lesson-7 P-16

In Power BI, "Manage Parameters" is a feature that allows users to create and control parameters in their reports.

Options of "Manage Parameters"

Manage Parameters: This option allows users to view, create, edit, and delete parameters in a Power BI report. Parameters act as dynamic variables that users can use to filter data, customize visuals, or perform other actions within a report.

Edit Parameters: Within the “Manage Parameters” section, users can select individual parameters to edit their properties. This includes editing the data type, setting default values, specifying allowable values, and adjusting other parameter-related settings.

New Parameters: Users can create new parameters from scratch using the "New Parameter" option. When creating a new parameter, users specify its name, data type, default value, and any other relevant settings. It allows users to further customize their reports and make them more interactive by adding dynamic parameter values.

Overall, the "Manage Parameters" feature in Power BI gives users flexibility and control over how they interact with their data, enabling them to create more dynamic and interactive reports.
