Transform Tab in Query Editor: Move option of Transform Tab like left, right, to end, to beginning in Power BI: Lesson-7 P-5

TransformTab of Query Editor in Power BI: The "Move" option : Lesson-7 P-5

Some possibilities:

1. Moving Columns:

Option 1: Using Drag and Drop:

In the Power Query Editor, click and hold the header of the column you want to move.
Drag and drop the column to the desired new position.

Option 2: Using the "Transfer" option:

Right-click the header of the column you want to move.
Select "Move" and choose "Left", "Right", "To Bigining" or "To End" depending on the desired location.

2. Transfer Queues (Rows):

Method: Power Query Editor does not offer a direct way to move individual rows. However, you can get similar results:
Filtering and reordering: Filter your data to isolate the desired row, then copy it. Paste it in the desired place with proper filtering.
Using the "Insert Rows Above" or "Insert Rows Below" options: Right-click a row and choose these options to insert new rows before or after the selected row. You can then copy and paste the desired data into a new row.

3. Moving values within a column:

Method: There is no direct functionality to move specific values within a column. However, you can:
Replace Values: Use the "Replace Values" option in the "Transform" tab to replace specified values with other values in the same column.
Custom Column Formula: Create a new custom column using a formula that references existing data and rearranges values as needed.
remember:

Always work from a copy of your original data when making changes to avoid unintended changes.
Experiment with different methods and use filtering and sorting techniques to facilitate data manipulation.
Consider combining these techniques for more complex data reconstruction needs.
